In the spring of 2013, Kansas City Parks and Recreation was getting ready to launch their new website, and they needed to announce it to the city. I worked with the parks department to create the campaign, giving it a fresh, modern icon set and a bright, summery color palette. Discover #KCParks was spread across the city physically and digitally through the use of flyers, posters, banners, promotional products, a bus, billboards, web banners, through facebook, twitter, instagram and you-tube, and launch of the site was successful, resulting in an over 50% increase in their web traffic.
